Ladur Type is prefabricated
reinforcement especially designed for embedment in the horizontal mortar joints of masonry. Ladur Type consists of two or
more parallel, longitudinal rods weld-connected to perpendicular cross rods normally spaced 15" O.C. to form a ladder
design. For reinforced masonry applications 16" spacing is available on request. The cross rods are electrically butt
welded to deformed side rods in a single plane.
DA 3600 Ladur-Eye
Ladur-Eye Tri Rod is designed to tie multi‑wythe
masonry walls and provide joint reinforcement in the back-up wall while allowing for adjustability between wythes. Adjustability
is provided by Rectangular Eyes or Tabs with Restraint Bar of 3/16 inch wire which are welded to one longitudinal rod at 16
inches on center. Pintles or Ties of 3/16 inch wire are engaged in the Eyes or Tabs and laid in the bed joint of the veneer.
DA 3600 S Seismic Ladur-Eye
Designed to tie multi‑wythe masonry walls and
to provide joint reinforcement in both back-up and veneer walls as well as provide adjustability between the wythes. Adjustability
allowed is provided by Sheet Steel Plates of 16 gauge welded to one longitudinal rod at 16 inches on center.
